A university-assigned project to create four internal illustrations for The Penguin Book of Japanese Short Stories, edited by Jay Rubin. I chose to illustrate two stories in the ‘Nature and Memory’ section: ‘Peaches’ by Akira Abe and ‘The Tale of the House of Physics’ by Yōko Ogawa.
